Our Story

Catalyst Group began in Kuching in 2018, when a small team of experienced consultants recognised a gap in how business advisory services were being delivered across Sarawak and wider Malaysia.

We observed that many consulting firms approached client engagements with predetermined solutions, rushing to deliver recommendations without fully understanding the nuances of each situation. We believed there was a better way—one rooted in careful listening, thoughtful analysis, and balanced judgment.

The name "Catalyst" reflects our role: we help initiate change and accelerate progress, but the transformation itself belongs to our clients. We provide the perspectives and frameworks; they bring the context and make the decisions.

Today, we continue to operate from our Kuching base while serving businesses throughout Malaysia. Our team has grown, but our commitment to considered, balanced consulting remains unchanged.
